"De Paul was the special guest of the day on Good Morning Britain: with Nick Owen and Anne Diamond on 17 February 1984.[31] She also made a guest appearance on the Rod and Emu Show (aka Rod and Emu's Saturday Special) on the 10 March 1984, where she performed her self-composed song, "Thunder in the Night".[citation needed] On 19 November 1984, de Paul was honoured to be one of the performers at the Royal Variety Performance in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the Queen Mother and the Prince and Princess of Wales and Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
