In November 2010, Q-York was chosen as one of the top selected performers and songwriters of the 7101 Music Nation Camp [1] along with Gary Valenciano, Rico Blanco, Jim Paredes, Jay Durias, Gary Granada, Ryan Cayabyab and many other OPM legends.[citation needed] Through the influence of their mentors at the camp they expanded their musicality and began to see themselves as more than just hip hop artists. In the Philippines they have collaborated/produced for talents such as Ogie Alcasid, Jay-R, Krista Kleiner, Chelo Aestrid, Young JV, Dannie Boi, Nina Girado, Gloc-9 & Paloma Esmeria.
