She was born in Tororo District[1] on 26 September 1968. She studied accounting, graduating from the National College of Business Studies, in 1994, with the Diploma in Accounting.[citation needed] In 1998, she successfully passed the examinations of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, leading to award of the title of Associate Chartered Certified Accountant Level II. That same year, she graduated from Makerere University with the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration. In 2005, she received the degree of Master of Business Administration, also from Makerere.[2]
