Peck wrote two additional books about her travels, The South American Tour: A Descriptive Guide (1913) and Industrial and Commercial South America (1922).[3] Both books were popular with diplomats, businessmen, corporations, politicians and tourists.[citation needed] In addition to becoming a founding member of the American Alpine Club in 1902,[4] Peck became president of the Joan of Arc Suffrage League in 1914;[5] a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in 1917; and was admitted to the Society of Woman Geographers in 1928.[6][2]
