In page Geertruida Wijsmuller-Meijer:

"

With the Nazis, Wijsmuller had contacts from high to low. She used it when she wanted something done from them. For example, she received travel documents for Jewish children to leave the country from a Gestapo employee[1]: 93-94  who believed that children belonged with their parents. Before that, she had accepted his invitation to have a drink with him on an Amsterdam terrace. He saw her walking in the street and recognized her.
