Mary Ann Radcliffe is often listed as having died in 1810, the date of the publication of her memoirs, however her death certificate lists her of having died of 'a decline' in 1818 in Edinburgh.[6] She is buried in an unmarked grave in Old Calton Cemetery.[citation needed]
