Late March and April tend to experience many days with the wind blowing at 20 to 30 mph (32 to 48 km/h), and afternoon gusts can produce periods of blowing sand and dust.[citation needed] In May, the winds tend to subside as a summer-like airmass and temperatures begin to occur into with regularity.
