In page Martin of Tours:

"

In Poland, Saint Martin is the patron saint of the towns of Bydgoszcz and Opatów. His feast day is celebrated with a procession and festivities in the city of Poznań, where the main street (Święty Marcin) is named for him, along with a 13th-century church which is dedicated to him. As November 11 is also Polish Independence Day, it is a public holiday.[citation needed]
