In page Paul the Apostle:

"

Paul's death is believed to have occurred after the Great Fire of Rome in July 64 AD, but before the last year of Nero's reign, in 68 AD.[1] Acts 28 concludes with Paul living and preaching in Rome but does not mention his death. Despite Acts mentioning the martyrdoms of James and Stephen, New Testament scholar Eric Franklin sees this as the author's "omission."[citation needed]
