Marching euphoniums and baritones commonly only have three valves, partly to conserve weight. The convertible euphonium resembles the convertible tuba, being able to switch configuration between a concert upright and a marching forward bell on either the left or right shoulder by swiveling the leadpipe. These are mainly produced by Jupiter or Yamaha, but other less expensive versions can be found.[citation needed]
