The sub-basins have the following specific discharge rates: Tocantins (11 L/s/km2 or 1.0 cu ft/s/sq mi), Araguaia (16 L/s/km2 or 1.5 cu ft/s/sq mi), Pará (17 L/s/km2 or 1.6 cu ft/s/sq mi) and Guamá (21 L/s/km2 or 1.9 cu ft/s/sq mi).[citation needed]
